Our Dams
These are our ladies that nurture and raise all of our amazing puppies. They are the ladies behind the curtain. They are responsible for not just the genetic material for our litters, but almost as importantly, they are the first example of dog behavior that a puppy gets. If mom shows food aggression, then puppies will learn it. If mom settles disputes by biting, then a puppy will learn that. If mom is wary of strangers, then the puppies will learn that too. This is why we temperament test and certify all of our girls. Take a look around and if you have any questions about them please feel free to reach out to us.
EMBARK UPDATE: All of our girls our genetically tested through Embark and are 100% clear of all testable genetic conditions and testable genetic faults (curly coat, faulty colors, etc). We are so proud to be constantly expanding our testing past the minimum standards to be able to offer more and more assurances to our puppy buyers!
Britannica
BHOT: Breeder Handler Owner Trained for BH and AD
Brit is from a repeat breeding of Sharliz and Hanco and is already proving herself to be all that I could have asked for and more. Together we have earned her BH, the first step in the IGP series and a combination Obedience and Temperament Certification. She earned her IGP1 with a professional trainer and then came back and completed her AD with us. Brit is a spunky, driven girl who will work for food or toy, with some added defense drive during IGP training. She is deeply bonded to her handler while also being environmentally stable enough to work in a variety of unfamiliar conditions. We cannot say enough good things about this girl and are excited to see her continue the history of health and longevity that her mother and many others in her pedigree boast of. She is a full sister to Acacia.
Britannica is rated A2 for hips and elbows- her hard copy results also reflect that while one side rated A2, the other rated A1 for both her hips and elbows. Both scores are good for breeding and in combination with her clean embark panel and certifications of being free of both Transitional Vertebrae (LUW) and OCD, we are excited for her future with us as a full fledged member of our breeding program.
Acacia- Retired
Acacia is a wonderful daughter of our own Sharliz, our foundation female that we have refocused our whole program around, and was proudly produced by Zeitgeist German Shepherds. Acacia is owned and loved by her own people who have graciously agreed to let us show, title, and breed her. She is rated SG1 and was the winner of her class at the Pacific Northwest Regional USCA show in 2022. Acacia is not titled in IGP like our other breeding dogs because this is not an area her owners choose to participate in and because IGP is not a part time sport. We have taken her to Agility training and she is nearly trial ready. We also have titled her in Rally Obedience and have more titles coming soon in that venue. She is temperamnt tested and certified through the GSDCA. Acaica has wonderful red pigment, carries for long coats, has Good hips and Normal elbows, and also is clear of all genetic conditions.
Sharliz- Retired
Sharliz is a lovely import female with fluid, beautiful movement. She is titled in IPO1 and has had her temperament evaluated and certified when completing her BH. She has an exceptional temperament with people and other animals. Sharliz placed #5 out of all GSDs in UKC in 2019 and is a Grand Chmpion in the venue. We also re xrayed her at 8 years old and the films are excellent! This along with her activity level and great health at 9 years old is a great indication of her overall health and longevity. Sharliz is the daughter of 2x world Champion, Remo, and grand daughter of 2x world Champion Vegas. Seriously, it is hard to come by a better pedigree than hers.
